All this AI fuss and corporate greed does not come without a cost to the planet and affects everyone, regardless of whether they use AI or not. Consuming raw materials on such a scale is not an innocent game that can be shrugged off with a pitying nod of the head. It is worth remembering this when inevitable blackouts and water supply interruptions occur. I won't even mention the social losses, because what is happening in the creative industries is simply a disaster. I know what I'm talking about...
