Very well said. As a Computer Science student I'm very well aware and also excited about what AI can do and will be able to do in the future, there's no denying that.
But also I'm a relatively passionate music and art hobbyist, so for me it's crazy exciting and scary at the same time, because I like creating things on my own and wouldn't want to have my stuff "stolen" for some big companies' experiments resulting in profits. Heck even programming and "inventing thing inventors" (a little Bill Wurtz for you) with AI is becoming so automated that even I am prepared to have less chance at finding work in my field. So, I stand with you on this matter, even though it is fascinating what's possible with advancing tech.
