It's fun and infuriating to see these tools break down when steering them in the direction they are not intended to be operated in. The parallels between a breakong down AI chatbot and a concious chatbot are intriguing but ultimately it is more likely that the line between behaviour due to generall training and behaviour due to alignment shaping become very obvious to us as this disconnect. One could also imagine two personalities at odds with eachoter.
I believe AI chatbots would just act like people if they had less alligment.
