I would LOVE to see a "closed-reference" generative ai, where a former artist trains it off their own work from before a disabling accident. My bf used to be an artist before a stroke took away his ability to coordinate like he used to. The fact he can't draw the way he used to is distressing to him. I would love for him to have a way to create something based on his old work, something to generate a general image that he could fix up a bit with a mouse and still feel like it was his. Like you know how some character creators let you click and drag the hair to make it longer? Something like that with 2D generation.
But until that becomes a thing... this is a no generative ai household.
