Where's the qualia? This is a little sensationalistic. Doing an algorithmic search from a world-wide data base of responses and coming up with the most accurate or "most creative" response does not mean that it is sentient. It just means it is an extremely powerful calculator that is still digital and using binary code of zeros and ones. Our brains are not digital. The color "yellow" and the heat of the sun on your skin is not digital. Also, there is no agreement on a true "Turing test". I think Blake knows this, but it's his 15 minutes to shine.
