I think a UBI could work however the societal impacts would be huge. It could cause revolution. However if we waited out all the upheaval I believe it would work. We would have to let technology take over the whole workforce and taxing would have to get a whole lot better. We would definitely have to go socialist and the economy would have to be run by AI. AI run economy would be great since it would benefit everyone and not let emotions get in the way. However we aren't there yet
