There is exactly one form of using AI to get unstuck when writing that I can accept: AI as a discussion partner, the same way that you would a person. Not everyone has people in their circles they can wrestle with about their stories, or is comfortable doing so (yes, even online. The idea of strangers even just knowing about your unfinished work can be scary). Fair enough, talk it through. AI in its current form _could_ potentially help people with loneliness, or just having something to rant to that will give back a response.
If AI is doing the work, creating the ideas, or even just writing the whole thing based on a prompt? That’s not your work anymore. You have no rights over it, and you really shouldn’t be publishing it under your name.
