AI can only take over thr human race if we allow it to. By recklessly moving forward and giving AI more and more controls. The chief entities implementing AI are clearly very much aware of the risks. But yet they are going to forge ahead recklessly advancing (or letting AI recklessly advance itself) and give it full control of everything with little or no concern for the risks involved.
