Well, I would like to think that AI boosts us, but the reality is that AI has replaced now JUNIOR/entry level devs. I believe later AI will be also able to understand business picture, and for sure contexts size will inrease so that whole codebase fits in it. Meaning the AI will still need to be managed, but only by fewer senior engineers.
