One question I don't see getting asked is whether we'd rather see a world where super-intelligent AI controls everything, or one where a small cohort of powerful elites (be they billionaires or politicians) controls everything through super-intelligent AI. Because I feel like we know how the latter would turn out... it makes me think the former might be worth the risk.
