Sooo much salty copium in this comment section. No, it does not look _as good,_ as-is, but no-one said we have to use either _all_ AI or _no_ AI for every single use case.
Most steps/phases in media production will benefit from this tech, from storyboarding to post. Just because it looks soulless and weird when generating _the entire thing,_ doesn't mean it's not gonna be amazing for backgrounds, texturing, skinning, rigging, last-minute tweaking, placeholder stuff, etc. etc. You know.... A lot of the hard work that CG artists don't necessarily enjoy doing anyway.
Will this costs some jobs? Maybe. Or maybe it'll just enable artists to do more, and eliminate barriers for amateurs to get started. Stop being such contrarian asshats.
