For one not aware of AI, Hinton sounds believable, but for one who understands AI, Hinton is obviously exaggerating the power of AI. The problems related to social behaviour are not only about AI as it is about several high tech social sites and the like. I find it hard to believe he really has the fears he claims to have. Concerns related to job loss are reasonable, but this video's exclusion of changes in job requirements are just another part of the hype. Humans, who possess AI as AUTHENTIC Intelligence will always be in need. The probable boom in robotic work is, to be sure, unfortunate. Simply put, AI will never become AGI.
