The problem with ai "art" that, to me, give it basically a short livespan for anyone that want to live with it is that the more they produce the less is there to steal. The thing is a program, if the programmers make them to find a new image to "take inspiration from" each time the program will never be cabable of functionning forever, istead I think that for each world of the prompt there is a finnished list of selected images and it won't try do go deeper. An exemple of that is at the start of the Ghibli ai "art" it was shocking for everyone how close it was to the original artstyle, but now each time there is a new one it just feels like the heads are copy paste of the last ones so obviously it can only be ai. My theory is that when this "problem" will keep growing with each artstyle everyone will tee is for what it is and those who want to make money out of that "art" will soon wonder why they can't even pay the electricity needed to make it.
