The thing with AI is that it doesn't do any fundamental processing or thinking when it generates ""art."" At least if a human artist recreates every aspect of an image without tracing, everything they've seen is consolidated and processed in their mind before or as they create. In this way even a recreated image has some originality thats unique simply because of the human brain that processed it. But with ai, there is no such processing or thinking. It just steals from an existing pool of art to create a frankensteined, lifeless husk that doesn't have any fundamental composition or meaning behind it.
