So good to hear some experts calling for sanity. Some people have practically lost their minds over the threat of AI. AI is just a tool, it's not a sentient creature; it's not alive. People can speculate all they want about scifi scenarios but it doesn't make their fears real. PEOPLE will be the threat, not AI. I wish more experts would talk about how to keep PEOPLE from misusing AI. But most of the time they grandstand about the Matrix or Skynet. Appeals to authority (losing their minds) is not convincing.
