However, what they fail to realize is that the current transformation driven by AI is fundamentally different from anything in the past.
This time, almost every repetitive or logical task that humans have ever done can be automated or replaced entirely.
Those who make such optimistic comparisons are often people who don’t feel their own jobs are at risk.
In this situation, I can’t help but worry about how our society can build a sustainable way to collaborate with AI — one that doesn’t destroy the ecosystem of people whose lives depend on their work.
