I remember going to the appointments with my actual parents and realizing their age range were the high-risk groups and I was 29 then, low-moderate risk profile. I’ll never forget my mother saying “We could die and that’s just what it is” I almost had to witness losing both my parents plus lose my own life while fathering a then, 4 year old boy. 3 years later, we went on to lose 1,500,000 Americans from Covid infection, its complications post infection and long-term disability post infection leading to heart compromises. 9/11 is a yearly reminder and we lost but 3500 people. Compare the losses. We affirm, after years of uncertainty studying Covid at UNC from 1978’ near its first cases documented from 1954’ in areas of Africa, that these strains of COVID, were created by a genetic engineering lab in Wuhan. That it was weaponized to take its chances across global regions but target in on North America through its airline travel system and knowing that healthcare systems wouldn’t be able to create a cure in time or a treatment in time before it spread and developed more resistant strains.
