What we seek in art is not mixing up what already exists.
An artist will have lived at least a certain amount of YEARS before creating his art, all those years are pure human experience. Numbers will be kind of randomly taken out of my ass but let's say all the art he studied in his life are 1/10 of his experience (which is already a lot when you think about it) and his human experience is the 9/10 other part. Now ALL this art he studied are like what 1% of what actually exists in art ? He will then mix up both his own human experience and what he learnt, which is very unique for two obvious reasons : 1) we all have our very own experience of life that is different from each other and 2) since the art he studied is 1% of what exists, it's very niche and a bit unique.
AI on the other hand will have no unique experience at all and will just spit back a mix of the million images
