At the end of the day, how do any of these studies actually matter? We said the same thing about the calculator, the internet, social media and now AI. It kills our independent thinking but nothing changes. Technology marches ever forward and will continue to do so forever. Mastering LLM will be infinitely more useful than reflecting with a pen and paper in 99% of fields. In a few years time it will have outpaced humans even further. You have to learn how to use 100% of its capabilities or you will be left behind.
