This is pretty surface level. There will be a rebalancing mechanism as at heart of any business, there is a need, and humans have needs.
AI producing companies are selling to AI driven companies which are selling to companies selling goods to people. If these companies go out of business as noone can buy shit, so will the others up the food chain.
Scale that up to a thousand folds, as soon as we reach 20% or more of unemployment, everyone is out of business, even large AI firms even if this takes a little longer.
You can’t just put a wall between AI driven companies on one side and people handled firms on the other. They’re all part of the same ecosystem no matter how far connected.
Considering ultra rich are building bunkers and buying island with enough supplies for several years, the next couple of decades should be interesting.
They know everyone is going out of business, they just try to maximize right now, looking at things collapsing from far away, wait for people to figure things out and probably come back when the fight is over.
