I'm not super concerned about AGI. The whole "AI" phenomenon is entirely a marketing scam cooked up by dumb nerds who have bought into their own BS and sold to dumb nerds with no standards.
I'm way more concerned about all these dumb nerds contributing to cooking the planet and poisoning the water supply with their hallucination engines than any sort of "intelligence" emerging.
