Another creator on this app also made a great statement when it comes to the comparison of traditional art, digital art and AI “art”. Both in tradition and digital art, you are physically creating the piece, “putting pencil on paper”, whether that be using a digital tool or physically drawing it out. Regardless, the artist interacts and works through the creative process of making a piece of art. Using gen AI, you aren’t physically interacting with the work, and not taking those creative decision yourself. Lavendertown really puts that in perspective with the comparison of the 3 here.
