The thing is poison Art isn’t really gonna work in the long run. Its a good starting point to talk about the problem however. The thing is if you manage to train an A.I. on exactly what you need to tell something you wanted to do forever, it can really spark creativity and up the quality of something like a weekly produced show. Another thing is that A.I. lowers the entry level of art, which means I as a writer can generate something that is similar to a sketch/envisioning so I can check if something I wrote is enough to get close to what I wanted to tell, or that I can incorporate pictures into my stories more easily, which I personally really like. The thing is I don’t have the time to really learn both painting and writing to the degree I need them for what I want to do. So this is everything for the positives for me. Because I do understand that A.I. is problematic in a world that cannot control the internet at all. I do understand the desire to not see your story twisted. The thing is that there are already good ideas out there to change that (as long as we can’t punish misuse of A.I. directly). For example we can sign art with a certificate that it is done by human. And if A.I. starts to fake it we can link in the digital code of the painting either a stop codon for the A.I. or a link with a short video where the art is certified. The fact is that A.I. is in the world and it is used as a weapon. Wielded by people we don’t know because of the anonymity the internet provides. So we could force sides who let customers buy A.I. work/create it be visible and any none authorize A.I. used for this needs to be treated as an international threat. However all of these ideas need a strong international society, something we don’t have atm. So maybe poisoned art is the best thing atm which sucks for me. Before you all say I should make room in my life to learn drawing/painting you need to know that Im a writer for almost 2 years with analysis work of over 1000 hours, while I was preaping for german A-levels and now I study stuff like logic at an university.
