We need to put policy in place to charge these companies taxes on every job they remove from the job market with automation. Otherwise the entire US will end up like the major Auto Cities like Detroit, there will be blood in the streets. One thing they aren’t considering aswell, if there is a collision with a driverless truck, your company is 1000% at fault, a computer can’t take responsibility, in the worst case scenario for these people quite a few people will be injured in these collisions and the American people will be out for blood, they’ll have lawyers crawling on em like ants on honey.
