We need to let go of the idea that we must always control it. I didn't have kids to control them. I have kids because its giving part of myself to the world to grow. Yes my kids are there own beings and i will have to direct and yes sometimes take control, but as they grow and become more independant, there becomes a point of which that in some way let my kids go. There is a surrender aspect to this process but it is necessary. If or when AI comes to this same evolution stage, then yes the most human act we can do is by doing the same. It may destroy us yes. But so does allowing our kids to exist on there own in this crazy place we call home.
