Acting like artists are privileged and "blue blooded" just by being artists is crazy. I have yet to meet a single artist who was "born with talent" and honestly I'm a little offended at the implication that artists don't work for there abilities. Because we do. It took me long years of trial and error, tears over art pieces that looked bad, pieces that looked better in my head then I was able to create, watching tutorial after tutorial, combining what I learned from the tutorials, watching even more tutorials, practice practice and more practice, and so much work and time to get to the skill level I am at now. And I'm still far from perfect. I'm going to collage and majoring in studio art in the hopes that I can improve even more then I have. Art has never been and never will be and ability that people are born with by "luck." It is something that we work hard twords. There were many times that I felt like quiting, but I kept going anyway. Because I was passionate and wanted this skill, and was determined. Yes art isn't for everyone. But the way I see it, people who don't put in that work into art are not oppressed or unlucky. They just don't have the determination to see it to the end. People who have put in that time honeing their skill aren't blue blooded tyrants who were lucky enough to be born with a magic skill. They are people who were passionate and determined enough to put in time and effort into learning a skill. And I'm sorry if I don't want a robot stealing other people's work that they put time, energy, and passion into for someone who mirly typed it in. This person wasn't born without talent. This person was born without determination and drive. And there's nothing creative or "imaginary" in having a robot steal other people's creations.
