I worked for Walmart for a short time. I was told the people that stock shelves will be someone in China or India . How this will work is you have a store with no shelves at all no bins no rakes. The future store will have no shelves at all just one big floor with only columns that hold up the roof. A pallet will come in direct from truck with no back room. The pallet will be taken with forklift operation by AI robot and set on the floor no one stocking shelves. The pallet covered will shrink rap plastic removed just leaving the product on card board shelves . So who stocked that shelf on that pallet? Answer someone in China ! Once the pallet is stocked in China shrink rap plastic holds it together . I have seen this already on LED light bulbs.
