The risk is not Skynet taking over and exterminating humanity. It’s smaller AIs being used to track and predict and then manage every individual.
Ever meet a paranoid schizophrenic who thinks they’re under constant government surveillance, and try to warn you that THEY are watching you too? There aren’t enough government employees on the planet to do that. But AI *can* do it, 24/7/365.
