I still have extremely high doubts that AI will somehow replace the blue collar tradesmen/women of any society. General construction, plumbers, roofers, electricians, carpenters, low voltage technicians, painters, drywall, etc. The powers that be would have to create humanoid robots and machines that can walk, stand, crawl, jump, operate heavy equipment, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc. As well as use skill sets that require finesse, feel, touch, etc. Not to mention use tools properly and understand their uses etc. If you want to stay ahead of AI, in terms of work and career longevity, you should be thinking about quitting that factory job or whatever low income path you’ve chosen and start learning a trade.
