This debate is flawed in many ways because both sides miss the real, deeper question. The atheist treats God like a human-style moral judge who must match our idea that “less suffering = more goodness,” while the believer protects their position by simply defining God as “absolute good” or saying humans can’t understand God’s reasons, which avoids real questioning. Both sides secretly assume objective morality without properly explaining where it comes from, confuse allowing suffering with directly causing it, and mix emotional reactions with logical arguments. One side acts as if science is the only source of truth, while the other separates religion from facts whenever it becomes inconvenient. Most importantly, neither side seriously thinks about God as existence itself or consciousness itself, and they fail to clearly separate emotional, logical, and evidence-based arguments, turning the debate into a show of clever wording judged by AI rather than a real search for truth.
