There will be obvious impacts from AI on workforce participation as entire career tracks are eliminated. What is not captured are the psychological impacts on our youth who could very well checkout of the workforce before they even get started. Enrollment at colleges in many critical fields like engineering could plummet dramatically which will be extremely consequential to the future of the country.
