AI is not really taking over jobs because it doesn't really need a chair and a desk and a cubicle or human resources or benefits.
It's more accurate to say that AI is doing the tasks that human beings used to do, but faster better and cheaper and without having to pause.
If they do all the tasks that an employee used to do, then that employee will lose his job.
So it's much more practical and useful to think of AI as doing tasks that humans used to do.
The positive side is that people who lose their job will be able to create companies and as long as they clearly specify the tasks to be done then they can rent or create AI agents to do those tasks.
