The greatest benefit of Ai is in the realm of scams, the destruction of privacy and the opinion industry.
The fact is that pundits rarely get it anymore correct than the average opinion - there is research.
Ai can be a lot of things, but only thru the wishes of those whose opinions direct it.
Look into the character of the men who own it and the ways they can make the most money from it.
Currently we are being told by those who are building national surveillance that we must allow the systems built with deregulation and crime are in the national interests.
The technology doesn’t have to work.
It only has to create the opportunities for catastrophe capitalist disruption.
IMHO Ai is going to be used by the least of us to exploit the most of us.
