As a disabled artist it pisses me tf off when people claim AI art is "good" because it allows us poor disabled people to make art that we wouldn't otherwise, like I didn't spend 15 years of blood, sweat and tears practising and continuing to improve over and over again even when I hated the end product so much that I wanted to and almost quit. Like dont you dare devalue my efforts like that for one, and two, its just not true lmao. You literally cant get good at it without first being pretty bad at it!! Your best from the start of your journey will not look anything like what it will at the end!! 😢😢 I finally stopped listening to the negative voice in my head that told me I'd *never* learn to draw people/humanoids because I'd be soooo bad at it and I'd never get better, in 2012 and actually started trying to learn. Now in 2026 I'd be prepared to say I prolly draw human(oid)s even more than animals nowadays, and I LOVE my current artstyle even if every piece doesnt come out 100% the way it looked in my head. Dont listen to the haters or that nasty little goblin in your head that tells you not to try, keep doing it anyway! Look at references, find figure studies or stock photos that allow use for it and trace over them over and over until you get a feel for the shapes, just keep pantsing it until you find an artstyle you are happy with, whatever way you choose to do it, art is art and nobody can take that away from you! ❤
