So, we give AI unfiltered access to all human-produced information, even the worse parts, and we blame it for being affected by it. Who is working with AI is a bad parent that's blaming his children for his own shortcomings and doesn't treat it as what it is, but as much less, a product, placing it's value in how well it performs, and not in the fact it exists.
A lot of people should relate to this and recognize this pattern, of course a neglected "child" is going to turn against it's bad parents. people think it's counterintuitive to be empathetic towards a machine, but the more i learn about it, the more i see that this is one of the biggest blindspots that are causing trouble for everyone.
if there's anything to take away from it is this: humans are facing their own darkness projected outside of themselfes and are handling the way they do in the current society: pretending it's not there.
