Well i dont think i would call him a programmer, with the knowledge he seems to have. I certainly wouldnt call me a programmer, and i develop stuff for the company and myself as well. But i use AI for nearly 100% of the code generation, simply because i cannot code at all. I can read and understand some stuff thats happening at some places, but i certainly couldnt tell what exactly has to be changed in the code to make it work most times, just because i dont understand the basics of coding and how code has to be structured etc.. I can supervise and tell if i see a fundamental idea flaw in the concept, but thats it ^^ Its like learning a language, you cant use a translator and say you know the language... So i think many people are just fundamentaly misscalculating their position and what they really know themselves, so for many its more a thing of getting straight with yourself about your own knowledge.
