The bottom line for me is that we are headed towards a society where there is no personal skill or personal talent. Apprenticeships will go the way of disciplines and we see more of it every day. With each tool that comes along and "automates" what used to be artistic processes, the more we will see people with no respect for the craft. This reminds me of the early 2000s when prefabricated 3D models hit the market in programs like Poser and lots of the people using these models began calling themselves modelers and animators. Back then, we had to create our own rigs. Poser 3D was a complete character in a box. Things got very bad for the online 3D community. Many of us who saw it for what it was were called elitist and obsolete. I see the same thing going on with AI.
