When I think of “AI artists”, I just think of that one episode of SpongeBob where they have to take care of the baby clam and Patrick is going to work, but it turns out he’s just been watching TV all day. How can you call yourself an artist if you just type some shit into a prompt and the machine does all the work by stealing bits and pieces from other artwork to make something else?
AI can be a very powerful tool, but it shouldn’t be used for any sort of creative purposes. It’s basically just a search engine and should be kept that way.
