It’s important to say that AI is not 100% bad. For example, this year, i moved to Argentina and i spoke 0 spanish. When starting off, i did all of my assignments in portuguese (my native language) and asked chatgpt to translate it (i could have used a translator but most don’t account for specific expressions). Then, as i got used to the language, i started writing the assignments in portunhol (a fake language that is used to describe a spanish speaker trying to speak Portuguese but using some spanish words and vice-versa) and asked chatgpt to translate the parts where i used Portuguese. This helped me so much that I don’t know if could’ve gotten through this first semester without it.
Note: i used chatgpt to translate ONLY, never to do the assignment for me.
