Wrong narrative. Anyone who has done more then one AI project can see that the real narrative is an all out data war between nations, corporations, and citizens. For example, ATS systems allow employers to screen thousands of job candidates, but those who have AI marketing experience can screen thousands of employers and position themselves as top candidates with current technology. With current technology the information dissemination function of managers can be automated. The arms race will keep going and even AGIs will find themselves disrupted.
