The only jobs that ChatGPT can possibly replace are live chat for customer support. The thing is that many websites that have chat support already have some sort of chat bot set up, albeit very rudimentary or have shifted live chat operations to overseas locations. Not many Americans will lose their low paying low skilled Jobs. AI requires access to is unimaginably large databases that will just get bigger and bigger. This means more data centers, more developers, more network engineers, more data scientists, etc.. thus the need for high paid skilled workers.
AI will open the doors for jobs that pay 80k to over 100k per year. I think that prospect is better than having a $15 dollar per hour to as low as $12 per hour Customer Support Job. Those low paying jobs should go away while spurring on more high paying skilled work.
