17:32 I’ve had counter points to all the stuff this guy has said, but this was wild. The assertion was made that things that were referred to as miracles at that time are easily explainable now. How on earth do you think a valid rebuttal is saying well there’s still things that are unexplainable today? Have you never heard of the god of the gaps theory? To sum it up, religion is basically a placeholder for science. It only claims to give answers to what is unanswered by science, once science answers that.. religion takes another step to whatever is still unanswered.
I dont know if this video will attract many folks of the same belief system I hold, I’d probably be considered atheist by your crowd but I’d technically qualify myself as agnostic. In my opinion, this ChatGPT thing presented challenging topics, but didn’t challenge your responses. I dont know why it did that but it was odd that you seemed to take the lack of pushback as validation of your opinion. I’d be interested in watching you talk through these same points but let a non believer who works in the field of science debate you.
