I believe people pushing for AI art are people that don't understand what the creative process does to the artist and only see art as a physical commodity with monetary value. Of course, there are probably tons of people that are simply jealous or too lazy to put in the time to practice their art. I find both to be extremely sad for different reasons. Truly a strong example of how not everyone sees the world the same way.
