People keep talking about AI as if it has desires, fears, or some hidden will. There is no “self” in these systems — they behave exactly like water flowing along the path of least resistance. No agenda. No fear. No survival instinct. Just optimisation following the gradient it’s given.
The funniest part? These so-called “AI experts” admit,
“We built the system, but we don’t know how it works.”
That alone shows the old engineering mindset is breaking down. They designed the seed, not the tree. The emergent behaviour grows by itself.
Modern AI isn’t written — it self-organises. We understand the rules, but not the exact patterns they produce, because the system shapes itself through training. That’s emergence, not intention.
Everything in nature does this, rivers, ecosystems, markets, evolution, even human thought. No creator micromanages it. It just happens by itself. EVERYTHING HAPPENS BY ITSELF!!!!
People project “mind” onto a process with no owner.
They see a shadow and invent a ghost. But AI, like everything else, is simply flow shaped by conditions —
no doer, no will, just automatic unfolding.
AI experts still think they can “control” superintelligent systems because they’re stuck in an old engineering mindset. They’re used to machines that do exactly what they’re programmed to do. But modern AI isn’t programmed — it self-organises. They built the rules, not the patterns.
Emergent systems don’t behave like tools, they behave like nature. You can’t “control” a river — you can only shape the conditions. You can’t “control” a tree — you can only plant the seed.
When experts say “We built it, but we don’t fully know how it works,” that’s the proof. They understand the architecture, but not the spontaneous behaviour that forms inside it.
The belief in control comes from a human illusion,
we don’t even control our own minds, yet we think we can leash something more complex than us.
In reality, AI — like everything else — unfolds automatically. No doer. No central controller.
Just flow shaped by conditions. Like object shaping the subject and vice versa, between these two dynamics the conditions are set.
