It's quite scary to see just how arrogant and bereft of perspective the "pro AI" researchers are in this debate. I guess it's tough finding good debaters to take that side. I kinda hoped skynet would nuke me while watching this trainwreck to spare me the cringing. All the pro ai arguments seem to be underpinned by "we'll definitely know exactly how capable it is when make it". This wasn't the case since gpt 3. Overall i found the quality of the debate to be underwhelming
