If you have a human-operated machine, you can put one of these in without retooling or design a purpose-built robot and be up and running quickly. Not good for workers short-term, that's for sure.
Also, criminal gangs can off-load their street battle and drive-by tasks to robots as shown.
Long term, history teaches us that the labor is relocated to more efficient, productive and complex tasks. In the short term, uneducated or otherwise deficient workers will be quickly shut out without refuge, exacerbating pre-existing unskilled labor disruptions.
