You people keep claiming AI is going to ruin art and take all your jobs. No offense, but you guys REALLY need to simmer down and actually look at what’s actually happening in the world: yes, AI art is here, and it’s here to stay. But is it actually replacing real artists? No, it’s not. AI art (and yes, it IS art) is a NICHE thing, and imperfect. “Real” artists are not. You guys aren’t getting any jobs taken from you. You’re still going to be here creating wonderful stuff a thousand years from now. And as far as AI copying your artwork to learn…consider this: how many REAL artists learned art the exact same way? Because I would bet that the answer is: a lot. It’s something to be aware of, but not something to get THAT upset about. It’s not stealing your art any more than some amateur artist who’s learning by copying you is stealing your art. And if it really bothers you, then put a signature or a watermark on it. Something to say “this is mine, I made it.” Issue solved. By the way, I should probably mention that I DO see where you guys are coming from. The main problem for me is that you guys are coming off as very opinionated and closed-minded about it, which I can never stand. Really wish you guys would be more open-minded about it. If I’ve upset, offended, or triggered you by saying this, I apologize. But you guys REALLY DO need to actually THINK about this stuff.
