I didn't mean "becoming aware" I meant decision making based on predefined rules. I am arguing that human decision making is nothing else but response patterns to predefined rules. And when that is simulated in a computer (after the computer becomes the input) you get computerized decision making. Actually that is already happening! All of "high-frequency trading" is algorithm based and it makes up for 73% of US equity trades. I anticipate autonomous drones within 10 to 20 years.
