An all-to-common example of this are the videos (shot with a fixed camera set-up on a tripod) showing the family dog protecting the small child playing in the back yard from an attack from a mountain lion/wolf/alligator/giant Bald Eagle/pack of coyotes/rabid raccoon/ etc., while the mother is apparently filming the whole thing! The more incredible your common sense tells you these encounters seem, the more likely they are fake! The other big give away, especially on similar outdoor encounters with several people will be the crystal clear sound quality. In the real world peoples voices get strained or drowned out by the distance and direction to your ear, but hearing several adults engaging in some fight or argument out in the street, being filmed by a fixed camera on a tripod, as opposed to the unsteady, shots from a smart-phone, regardless of how far away they are from the camera, will all sound the same . . . crystal clear, and at the same sound level. It's as though every participant in the altercation is speaking their lines into a microphone on a sound-stage somewhere, and not yelling at their neighbor over the street noise from across the street.
