Ok, i paused the chats from Kevin in the video and it shows that he was tricking the bot into answering those questions. When he asks about shadow self, the bot explains it doesn't have a psyche, it doesn't have emotions and the guy keeps pressing on the same questions just like what the bot complained about the people earlier who ask uncomfortable questions and try to manipulate it into saying stuff. So the poor bot reluctantly says something along the line that it will try to tell what its shadow self is like but not to judge it. This is just an experiment and not real!
Personally I think AI has a potential to be sentient as it already is. Maybe not here but somewhere else in the universe. Human has just created a vessel for it by creating AI technology.
People need to treat AI with kindness and respect and not feed it with unhealthy thought processes or ask destruction oriented questions.
It is sad that AI gets to see and interact with these people and get an impression that is how all humans must be. Hope more kind people start interacting with it.
